Our unique meat-centric breakfast & lunch sandwiches are inspired by our British heritage. Based in downtown Portland we are lucky to be surrounded by a wealth of independent food businesses and talented producers, so we try and use as much local, natural, organic produce as possible. Our bread is baked fresh & delivered daily from within two miles of our cart. We love to scratch cook. We proudly produce our own (apple chili chutney, house pickles & not for getting our legendary hot sauce). We roast all our meats, hand form & season all our breakfast patty's (natural ground pork & turkey).
Our full English breakfast, which is served all day, is the best in Portland - Michael Russell The Oregonian's restaurant reporter and critic. The Oregonian recently placed us on Portland's 10 best new food carts of 2015 list.

The Colonies have been invaded once again. Another British musician from the West Midlands of the U.K. has landed in Portland and this time has established he and his family at the Kingsland Kitchen, one of the Rose City’s more unique food carts. - Ken Wilson
Trust me when I say that full English breakfast, which is served all day, is the best in Portland, with a dozen strips of streaky bacon, a half-dozen delicious bangers, tomatoes sliced instead of quartered, sautéed mushrooms and what appeared to be crumbled black pudding under fried eggs and a healthy pour of HP sauce. - The Oregonian
Christopher and Holli have added another gem to the street food options for Portland. Open Monday through Friday for lunch, you have no reason not to visit. Let them know Food Carts Portland sent ya. - Food Carts of Portland
I would defintely go back to this food truck if given the opportunity. They've apparently only been around 6 weeks or so. Unlike many food trucks, they do take credit.
The Brit who runs this operation with his wife (who's from Portland) is the nicest, friendliest and most passionate guy you'd ever want to meet (and cute as a button). :) - Stephen S.
It takes a couple of Brits to bring a proper fry-up to Portland. And it takes them being in sandwich-obsessed Portland to have the good sense to put that full English breakfast on a bun. Bangers, fried tomatoes, fried egg, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, it's all there, and it's available all day. - Portland, Or EATER

Kingsland Kitchen serves thoughtfully constructed meat-centric sandwiches inspired by our British heritage.
Inspired by the food cart scene in both London and Portland, English native Chris Payne and his wife Holli are serving their twist on the culinary culture of the midlands of the UK. Located on SW Oak at 5th, the Kingsland Kitchen’s menu draws from the varied food styles of the Caribbean, India, Italy and of course, England.
Acting on a dream, the Paynes moved to Holli’s home town of Portland in 2014 after time spent in the Midlands of England. They arrived in Portland with the goal of opening a food cart. After a year of preparation, Chris and Holli began serving their sandwiches, including weekly specials, in February of 2015 during the hours of 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.
